1️⃣ Milestone - First design consistency across applications
There was essentially no design system to speak of: the component library shipped by an external agency wasn't specific enough and didn't meet accessibility standards, so it couldn't be reused reliably across apps — a near-zero starting point for UX maturity.
I led the task force to rebuild it properly instead of patching it: WCAG 2.1 guidelines, readable color contrast, and close collaboration with developers.
The result was a new B2C Design System with clearly specified, documented components — the company's first real design foundation.
ePlix
ePlix is a platform that works on computers, tablets, and phones for a wide range of end users - from students to retired individuals.
It helps them easily check and update their important work information - like paychecks, retirement savings, insurance.

2️⃣ Milestone - Establishing enterprise design foundations
With the foundation in place, the next gap was capacity: too few people to support the work and grow the practice. I helped hire new team members and, together, we set team goals, vision, and OKRs — the next step toward a repeatable UX practice. We made good progress, though shifting market priorities meant we didn't complete everything we'd planned.

This platform contains work rules for different industries and makes them easy to find and consult. Tests with users showed that people can quickly locate the rules they need thanks to simple navigation and good organization of information.
Lohnsimulation
This app helps calculate and manage employee salaries in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Users can easily check minimum wage requirements and update pay rates on their phones, seeing all salary changes instantly.
3️⃣ Milestone - Expanding design language
Rather than reuse B2C patterns, I chose to start from research again: B2B users had fundamentally different needs, so design principles came from interviewing stakeholders and SMEs directly.
The result, the B2B Design System, focuses on data visualization, process efficiency, solid navigation, and keyboard-friendly interaction — a second, mature design system built on top of the first, applied across ePlix, eAbsence, Publikationswebseite, and Lohnsimulation.
